We had a great turnout for the first CMM home volleyball game!! The 6/7 grade team took a few hard-fought losses but your 8th grade Lady Stallions finished the night with two wins, taking the Benton Tigers to 25-23 and 25-13 sets!!!! Thanks to all who helped make this event possible!!!!!!

Lady Stallion Softball won their season opener last night against Broadmoor with a score of 17-2. Come on out Monday night to watch them face off against Fair Park at 6:30 at Captain Shreve.


Don't forget, tonight is Johnny's night at the Southern Loop location.


The CMM lady stallions volleyball team is excited to be playing Benton volleyball at CMM this Thursday, September 19. Games will be at 5, 6, and 7 o’clock with 6/7 and eighth graders playing respectively at those times. Get your tickets on Local Level today and support our Ladies Stallions volleyball team at home!

Callbacks for Beauty and the Beast are this Wednesday from 3:30-6:00 pm in the PAC. Please go to the website to see the callback materials. Be prepared to read for different characters. You will do the group song and dance again as well as any solos you were called back for.

Calling all singers, dancers, actors, and performers: If you want to share your special talent with the world then, sign up for the Red River Revel Arts Festival talent show. Auditions are for anyone 5-18 years old and should be 2-5 minutes in length.


6th Grade Election Week is coming up! Let’s celebrate the hard work of all our candidates and cheer them on by showing our spirit! We will have dress-up days next week (Sept. 3-6) and we want you to go all out!

Each month, you will have the opportunity to participate in a school-wide art contest celebrating diversity. First up is the Hispanic Heritage Art Contest. Who is a Hispanic artist who inspires you? This can include artists in the areas of visual art, design, literature, drama, dance, music, or culinary art. Contest rules & entry forms are available in Mrs. Sitton's room B112 & on the CMM website.


School Picture Day is September 4th. As always, photos will be taken during PE hour. Information about ordering picture packets will go home with students today.
