This afternoon the Caddo Parish School Board unanimously approved an increase in the daily rate of pay for substitute teachers, substitute office clerks, and substitute secretaries. We are grateful to the Board for their continued commitment to our students and staff and efforts to remain competitive in recruiting and retaining the highest quality staff across our district.
CMM Family, we have some exciting news!
For the first time, we are offering you the chance to celebrate your child's birthday by having it announced on the morning announcements. We will only be announcing up to 3 students' birthdays per day, so you want to reserve your date as soon as possible. Starting August 1, you can go to locallevel.com to reserve your date. If your child's birthday falls on a weekend you can either announce it on Friday or Monday. The price is $10 and will go to fund our second exciting announcement. Musicals are returning to CMM! This year the students of CMM will be performing "High School Musical, Jr" in the Spring of 2023. The money raised from the birthday celebration announcements will help fund this production. You can reserve your date from August 1 - August 19. Thank you for your support!

Stallion 6th Grade Football Meeting—Monday, August 8th at 5:30Pm in the PAC (Auditorium).
Students will receive school supply lists from their teachers the first day of school. They only need a folder and pencil that first day.
This school year, Caddo will continue to offer newly hired certified educators a $1,000 signing bonus! Interested educators can meet with a recruiter in person this Wednesday, July 13, from 9am to 11am OR 1pm to 3pm.

Tryouts for girls basketball will be May 16, 18, 20, and 23 from 530-700pm. Parents are welcome to attend for informational briefing and to observe the tryouts. Please bring your own water to tryouts.
CMM will be holding its summer acceleration program from May 31, 2022-June 10, 2022 (M-F). The program will be from 8:00 a.m.-3:15 p.m. each day. Students will receive enrichment in ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Electives. Parents will provide transportation to and from the program. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. Please complete the survey located on the Caddo Middle Magnet website to enroll your student in the program. Students will need a copy of the summer reading novel "City Spies." You can purchase a copy of this novel on your own or purchase a copy from the school. To purchase from the school, please pre-order on this form. Students will pay for the books at school May 31, 2022. The cost is $9 (cash only). Please email Dr. Webert at cdwebert@caddoschools.org if you have questions.
As many of you may have heard, CMM lost a member of its Stallion family Sunday, Landry Anglin. Due to this tragedy, we have delayed LEAP testing. CMM will not test Tuesday, May 3, 2022. At the moment, we plan to resume testing Wednesday, May 4, 2022. We will confirm testing dates Tuesday afternoon once we assess the needs of our students and send out a final confirmation via Jcampus and on this page. We will continue to monitor our students as their needs guide our decisions. We will continue to provide support to students as needed through the end of the school year. We thank each of you for your cooperation, support, and most of all, your thoughts and prayers. Please continue to keep the family of Landry in your prayers in the days and weeks ahead.
