Congratulations to Kate Cox, Jude LaFleur, Kinsley Mayfield and Matilda Reeg for competing in the AAU National Cross-Country Championship last Saturday in Tallahassee, Florida. These were the fastest youth across the United States at this race, and they all placed in the top 100 despite the extreme weather conditions! They are tough kids! What a great opportunity and experience!

PTSA's Charleston Wrap Fundraiser selling wrapping paper, gifts, and more runs through Monday, December 4th. Students who sell one or more items will receive a free dress day (pjs, Lulu, shorts, etc). The highest seller will receive a pizza party with friends during lunch. Ask your parent if they have set up your account.
NJHS and Student Council are sponsoring a toy drive benefitting Roy's Kids. We are collecting new, unwrapped toys. This will be a grade-level competition to see which grade can collect the most toys. The winning grade will receive an awesome prize the week before Christmas break. Anyone donating toys will also be entered into weekly drawings for prizes! Please take your toys to the following teachers: 6th grade- Mrs. Ardoin, 7th grade- Miss H Chaisson, 8th grade- Mrs. Waddell. Donations can also be made on Local Level! Help us make Christmas special for less fortunate children!

The Stallion Softball team hit it out of the park last night with a 10-0 win over Herndon. The big win marks the first ever 3 in a row parish softball championship completing their 12-0 season. Hats off to our 8th graders Ava Lurry, Peyton Hamilton, Ari Elkins, Bella Powell, Serena Collins, Leia Williams, Tilley Armstrong, and Erin Breaux, many of these amazing athletes played on all 3 winning teams. Not only did these young ladies win three championships, they were undefeated for three years running, winning 36 consecutive games! Thanks to everyone for your support during this exciting season.

CMM Stallions we will be participating in a food drive for our local food bank this year! We will be collecting cans in your homeroom class for the food drive which will be a competition to see who will win a donut party! The winning classes will be determined by the average number of cans per student that your class brings in. We will select one gateway, 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade class as our lucky winners who bring in the most cans per child. Let's help feed those in need for this Thanksgiving season!
