Talent Show
It's time to sign up for the Talent Show! The Talent Show is a good opportunity to show off a special skill that your friends might not know about! It is also a good chance to build confidence and display your abilities! Find one of the Talent Show Auditions posters and scan the QR code to sign up. Auditions will be held after school on January 11th. We can't wait to see all of the amazing talent at CMM!
Community Involvement Club
CMM Community Involvement Club: If you are in Mrs. Sweeten's Community Involvement Club, plan on meeting after school this Friday to assemble the boxes for the veterans. You will need to be picked up at 4:15 that afternoon.
Pinterest Club
Pinterest Club Members: The fee for Pinterest is $15.00 and covers the cost of all projects that we create during club time. If you have not paid your club fee, please do so by December 16, 2022. You will need to bring cash or check payable to Caddo Middle Magnet to any sponsor or you can take it to Mrs. Cole, our bookkeeper in the counselor's office. The fee is NO longer available on Payschools central. Any student who does not pay the club fee, will not participate in next month's activity. We will not have a club during the busy month of December but look forward to our January time together to create a fun craft.
Winter Social
Don’t forget to get your ticket to CMMs Winter Social. It will be held on December 14 after school from 3:25-4:30! Enjoy music and dancing, play games to win prizes, decorate an ornament, and have a tasty treat! Tickets are $5 and will be sold on Local Level until December 12…That is this Monday. No cash will be taken and no tickets will be sold after the 12th. Come help us celebrate the holiday season at CMM!
Toy Drive
Remember students, In order to get the chance to pie a staff member, we need toys! Student Council and NJHS are sponsoring a toy drive to benefit Roy's Kids. Our goal is to collect 1,000 toys! If we reach our goal, the entire school will receive an afternoon outside and the chance to pie the CMM staff! Please bring your new, unwrapped toys to your homeroom class by December 16. Help us make Christmas amazing for those that are less fortunate!
Poster Contest
We hope you are working on your school posters for the poster board contests. Categories are Suicide Prevention, National Diversity Week, Red Ribbon Week, Internet Safety, Mental Health Awareness, Character Education, and Bullying Prevention. Submit entries to Mrs. Sitton in B112 by Friday, December 16. Rules & Entry Forms are available in B112.
Falala LaFest
Falala LaFest is almost here! Celebrate with us on the last day of school before the Winter Break (December 20th) by wearing your favorite comfy pajamas to school. During lunch, you will be able to enter our Winter Wonderland (the courtyard) and enjoy a holiday cupcake and hot chocolate. We have contacted the North Pole and Santa fit us into his busy schedule! Funds will go to support KCMM and our school-wide musical. Every student that day will watch a holiday movie with their grade level. The cost for the wristband (to wear pajamas and get the treats) is $5.00 and can be paid at locallevelevents.com--no cash will be taken. The deadline for purchasing your wristband is 12:00 PM (noon) on December 16th. Absolutely no wristbands will be sold after that time. Go to the CMM website for the link and QR code.
