Book Fair
We are so thankful for all of our generous students! Together we have raised $612.29 to purchase books for Shriners Hospital. We are able to donate 70 books this year with your generosity. The grade that raised the most and will be able to sit out of Run/Walk for a day is SIXTH GRADE! Thank you all so much! Your PE teacher will let you know what day will be Run/Walk free day.
Food Drive
Thank you all so much for participating in the Food Drive! We had an amazing turnout this year! We collected over 1500 cans for the Food Bank!

MathCounts
Congratulations to CMM's Mathcounts team. On Thursday, November 17 they competed in LSMA's McGrath Math Competition in Natchitoches. The following students placed in the individual portion of the competition: Brian Han 4th place, Max Shen 3rd place, and Wesley Wynn first place. The Mathcounts team also placed 1st in the overall team competition.
XC News
The CMM XC team closed out the season on November 11th with a one-mile race at Parkway High School winning the Screaming Eagle mile with top females in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Congratulations to Genevieve Landreneau, Matilda Reeg, and Kinsley Mayfield. They've had an excellent season with numerous 1st place team awards, top 10 placements, and winning the City Championship! Top runners from our team competed in a USATF region meet this past Saturday, 11/26, and all qualified to go to the National Junior Olympic XC Championships in December at Texas A&M. Way to go Stallions XC!
Poster Board Contests
It's time for the annual school board poster contests. Categories are Suicide Prevention, National Diversity Week, Red Ribbon Week, Internet Safety, Mental Health Awareness, Character Education, and Bullying Prevention. Submit entries to Mrs. Sitton in B112 by Friday, December 16. Rules & Entry Forms are available in B112.
Rose Center Christmas Card
CMM won 2nd place for the Rose Center Christmas Card to the Community. If you visit Christmas in Roseland, please consider choosing ours for People's Choice (voting closes December 11th). For more information about the event, visit https://www.rose.org/christmas-in-roseland
