Welcome to 6th-grade Student Council Week! We have dress-up days all week, so join in the fun. Today is Favorite Cartoon Day, Tuesday is Tacky Tourist Day, Wednesday is Emoji Day, Thursday is Grade Level Love Day, and Friday is Halloween, so you'll be allowed to wear your costumes to school. ALL outfits should be in the dress code.
CMM is partnering with Overton Brooks VA hospital to assemble hygiene bags for our veterans. Please see the website for items you can donate, and also include a handwritten note thanking our Veterans for their service. Turn in all items by Thursday, November 6th to earn school service credit for your items. You can drop off your items in the front office.
CMM Cross Country are state champs! They ended their season in Monroe on Saturday at the Louisiana State Games! The team won 1st place for 6th grade girls, 6th grade boys, and 7th/8th grade girls! The 7th/8th grade boys team won 3rd!! Jordyn Thomas and Zoey Ohr both won 1st place as meet champs for 6th grade and 7th/8th! Others placing in the top fifteen for the girl’s teams were Makayla Nichols, Braelyn Gipson, Sydney Tuey, Morgan McCoy, Lillian Cox, Mary Mack Thornton, Sadie Rippetoe, and Piper Rippetoe! Boys placing in the top fifteen were Aedan Shonder, Bruce Bryant, Mason Tubre, and Rhett Waddell. This team had an excellent season! Way to go, Stallions!
