CMM Cross Country brought home the wins last Saturday at their home meet, the Byrd Invitational. 6th grade girls won 1st place and 6th grade boys placed 3rd! Jordyn Thomas was the overall female winner for 6th-grade girls with Mary Mack Thornton and Sadie Boyd placed in the top ten, too! Both 7/8th grade girls and boys’ teams won 1st place with Zoey Ohr overall female with Braelyn Gipson, Riley Middleton, Sydney Tuey and Tilley Armstrong all in the top ten! Aedan Shonder, Connor Burgin and Destin Breaux all placed in the top ten for 7/8th grade boys with Parker Brownlee securing the time for a tie breaker! Well done, Stallions! Next up is the Caddo City Championship Saturday, October 4th!
Waylon Acklin competed in the Gumbo State Governor’s Games which is a track and field competition for those with physical disabilities. He placed 1st in all of his events in both field and track! Way to go Waylon!!!
