The last day to earn AR points for Reading rewards, awards on Awards Day, and the Top Readers Field Trip is Friday, April 11.  Students who have read one million words or more will be able to attend the field trip.  

Current 6th graders, it is not too late to learn an instrument. If you are interested, please select beginning band on your elective form. See Mrs. Kutz with any questions! 

Students would like to learn how to own and operate your own business?  If so, consider attending Biz Camp this summer.  The admission is free and is open to all 6th - 12th grade students.  For the past 25 years, this camp has been teaching students how to construct a successful business plan.  It is held at Northwestern State University School of Allied Health and Nursing, located on Line Ave. in Shreveport. If you are interested, see Dr. Leviston in the ISS room. (Till Friday)

Applications for Student Workers are available on the website under the electives button.  These are for students who are currently in 7th grade and would like to work in the office or library during their 8th grade year.  The deadline to complete the form is April 11.

6th and 7th graders:  The summer reading books and the first 2025-2026 school year book are available on PaySchoolsCentral.com for purchase. You will receive your summer reading books and assignment from your ELA teacher before the school year ends.  The deadline to purchase is April 4, 2025.

 Students, remember to return your contract packets to your first-hour teachers by tomorrow. Each student must return the contents of the contract packet to attend CMM next year. Students failing to return the information packet will not be given a class schedule in August. 

April is Arab American Heritage Month. The deadline for the Celebrate Diversity Art Contest is tomorrow.
