Black History Month Art Contest
Create a work of art celebrating someone who inspires you for the Black History Month Art Contest. Your artwork could be featured in a special exhibit for CMM's Black History Month program & at Artbreak. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners will receive Amazon gift cards. The deadline is Tuesday, February 20. Entry forms are available in Mrs. Sitton's room B112 or on CMM website under the herdthenews tab.
Basketball
This Thursday the girls' basketball team has a home playoff game against Calvary at 6 pm. The boys' basketball team is on the road and will have a playoff game against Linwood at 6 pm. Good Luck to both teams and go Stallions!!!!!!!!!!!
Frozen Jr.
Tickets are now on sale for this year’s school-wide musical, Frozen Jr.. You can purchase tickets at locallevelevents.com. Posters have been placed around the school with the QR code to take you to the local level event where you can purchase tickets.
Hearty Party
Hearty Party: Mark your calendars for February 14 because it's gonna be a hearty party. We will be having a semi-formal dance on Valentine's day this year, and the student council hopes you decide to come. We will have great music, food, and photo ops. Don't forget that this event is for all CMM students. You can either change or arrive at school in your cute outfits. Please make sure it's in the dress code! If you haven't bought your ticket go local level to do so.
Golf
Sign up for the 2024 CMM Golf Team today! Register on the Front9Tour.com website for the 2024 NorthWEST Louisiana Middle School Golf League. Once you have registered, email your confirmation to Ms. Brown at mbrown14@caddoschools.org. More information will be sent once registration is complete!
Valentine's Day Treats
Lowder’s cookies and brownies are on sale now for Valentine’s Day delivery. Ask your parents to check the Stallion Scoop email for the order link. Individual or boxed orders can be placed through Monday, February 12 at 6 pm.
Fundraiser Dress Day
Free Dress Day for students of Charleston Wrap and Parent Technology Talk participants will be next Friday, February 9. On Thursday during first hour, students on the list will receive a wristband, which will serve as their pass the next day to wear hats, sunglasses, pajamas, and/or shorts!
Fencing Club
Thursday's Fencing Club meeting is canceled. We will also not meet next week, due to student's virtual day. See you in two weeks.
