Yearbook and KCMM Applications
Applications for the 2023-2024 Yearbook Staff are now open for current 7th-grade students only. The link to the application can be found on the school's website and the school's official social media pages.
Applications for next year's KCMM-Social Media Staff are now available for 6th and 7th graders. The link to the application can be found on the school's website and the school's official social media pages.
The deadline for both yearbook and KCMM applications is March 31.
NJHS Applications
National Junior Honor Society Applications are now open for current 6th and 7th-grade students. It can be found on the CMM website under the NJHS tab. The form will close on April 6th.
Current members, Easter Egg donations are due by Friday, March 31.
High School Musical, Jr.
Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical comes to life on our stage in Disney’s High School Musical JR. on April 5th and 6th. Troy, Gabriella, and the students of East High must deal with issues of love, friends, and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. See the posters around the school for show times and the qr code to purchase tickets.
CMM Student Ticket- $5
General Admission Ticket- $10
CMM Teacher Ticket- Free but must reserve a ticket.
All tickets must be purchased on local-level events.
And We are excited to announce that we have our very own Wild Cat who is sure to be Star’s best friend before long. Check the CMM instagram account: cmm_middlemagnet, to see if you can guess what CMM staff member gets to be a Wild Cat for the play. Every day will have a new clue! Guesses can be submitted during all lunch periods on Wednesday, April 5. Prizes issued to the first 2 correct entries on each lunch shift, but not until all performances are complete!

Cheer News
A reminder that all forms and fees for CMM Cheer Tryouts are due by this Thursday, March 30. This includes the "Intent to run" form, fee paid, and report card turned in to Mrs. Guthrie in B210!
MathCounts
Congratulations to CMM's Mathcounts team: Wesley Wynn Sahil Thorat, Max Shen, and Brian Han! They competed in the State level Mathcounts competition on 03/24 and placed third. Wesley Wynn placed 1st in the countdown round and 3rd as overall individual, earning him a place in the Louisiana State team to compete in the national competition on May 14-15 in Orlando, Florida. Aiden Zhao and Emersyn Whited also competed as individuals in the state competition.
