Student Council
It's officially day 3 of StuCo week! I hope you all have enjoyed yourselves this week so far because there's much more to come. Don't forget to continue bringing money for our penny drive, and for info, you can ask a student council member or look at the posters around the school. I am so excited to see everyone's colorful outfits today, and even more excited for tomorrow which is Hawaiian Day. Don't forget to dress up in your tourist, or Hawaii-themed clothing!
Yearbook
The deadline to order yearbooks online is May 5th. After that date, no online orders will be taken. Extras will be sold for cash only on distribution day after preorders have been handed out.
Track
Come out and support your Stallions at the 2023 Middle School Track Meet on Wednesday April 19th at 5:00 pm.
Film Prize, Jr.
Enter a drawing to win a $125.00 gift card and support CMM's film 'The Green Room" by voting yes to "The Green Room" at Artbreak this Friday and Saturday. Where? The 2nd floor Convention Center. Remember to vote yes for "The Green Room" at Artbreak and get a chance to win $125.00 gift card. Please help CMM win the Audience Choice Award for "The Green Room."
Attendees at our in-person festival, Friday and Saturday, will vote for our Festival Audience Choice Award. To vote, viewers must watch at least one film slate during this year's festival. Scan the QR Code present at the end of each viewing slate to access the voting ballot, and rank your top three favorite films. This winner will be announced during our Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 23rd at 1 PM.
This year, our Virtual Festival will take place Tuesday, April 25th through Monday, May 1st (after the in-person festival). On April 25th, all of this year's short films will be viewable at FILMPRIZEJR.com. Visitors to our website will be able to watch and vote for their favorite films as they would the in-person festival. For virtual audience choice, viewers only need to watch three (3) middle or high school films to vote. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, May 2nd.
Renaissance Faire
Hear ye, Hear ye! Renaissance Faire is upon us this week!
Students: NO backpacks this Friday, April 21st.
Please remember to dress in your Renaissance attire for a most festive of Faires! No weapon props or canes or staff, please.
Remember to bring your donations of goods to your social studies teacher this week.

Girls Basketball
Lady Stallions come tryout for the 2023-2024 basketball season and continue the winning tradition here at CMM. Tryouts will be held Monday, May 8, and Tuesday, May 9 in the CMM gym from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.
8th Grade Celebration Video
8th Grade students, listen up. The time has come to put together the celebration video that will be shown on 8th Grade Celebration Day. You need to upload a photo of yourself from 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade to the correct assignment on the Canvas course. Please select appropriate photos (if what you have on in the photo you wouldn't wear to school, it's not appropriate for this). This needs to be done by May 5th.
