Student Council
Student Council Week is next week and our students have been hard at work planning and preparing fun activities for the student body! Please support CMM StuCo by participating in the dress-up days, penny wars, and coming to our Johnny’s night next Tuesday! We can’t wait to celebrate CMM by “Kicking into the Summer Season” while also giving back to the local community! Monday the theme is “Silly Shoes” Kick into summer by wearing your favorite shoes.
Biz Camp
If you want to learn how to own and operate your own business, you should consider attending Biz Camp this summer. Biz Camp is a free camp for middle school and high school students. The camp will be held June 5th-16th at Northwestern State University Nursing School here in Shreveport. If you are interested, pick up an application from Dr. Leviston in the ISS room.
Holocaust Remembrance
Congratulations to the Holocaust Literary Competition winners Alaythia Brewer - 1st Place for the “Requiem” piece and Alyn Arvizu - 3rd Place Holocaust Remembrance Essay Piece. Both will be honored at a service on April 16 at Zion Baptist Church. All are welcome. Students please check out our website and social medial platform for more information on the Holocaust Remembrance Service and also check with your ELA teacher as some are giving bonus points for attending.
High School Musical, Jr.
The cast party for High School Musical Jr. has been rescheduled to April 18, after school to 6:30. Dinner will be served.
